WWII LADIES CIVILLIAN GAS MASK HANDBAG

A Scarce example of an early wartime ladies handbag with a concealed gas mask compartment. Constructed from faux leather with fabric material and internal coin purse, complete with gas mask and ephemera that was inside the purse when purchased. Passes from the Royal Jubilee dated 1935, overall very good condition with wear relative to its age. A great piece that would make a fine addition to any British Home Front collection.
